Element Technology Headquarters, Singapore, June 4th, 2021 – Eletech, a highly innovative designer & atelier of boutique high-end audiophile cables unveiled the newest flagship to their famed ‘Parnassus’ - “Aeneid”.
Topping Eletech’s craft and accumulation of R&D and expertise, the “Aeneid” was actualized. Super ceding Eletech’s prior knowledge and cable philosophy, the “Aeneid” was redeveloped from ground up while breaking through the boundaries of Eletech’s craft and forcing an abdication of the Flagship throne from the prevailing flagship.
Unsurpassed within Eletech’s cable repertoire, the “Aeneid” features a completely maxed out, highest GPS configuration in 24awg geometry. Holding more than twice as much materials as a regular 26awg GPS configuration, it’s essentially a 8 wires configuration culminated into a 4 wires setup.

Since Eletech’s debut in 2019, the experienced ateliers has enjoyed widespread successes across their entire product portfolio with their unorthodox entry cables housed with “Virtues Series”, high performing reference grade “School Of Athens Series” as well as their class leading “Parnassus” series.
Eletech’s “Iliad” and “Plato” and “Socrates” has especially captivated the hearts of many in the audiophile community. Following the successful launches, Eletech’s R&D team returned to develop a project of insanity - One to vie for the top contender within their repertoire undisputed. Drawing from the experiences derived from the development of their highest performing cables as well as experimentation of various new geometry setup and grades of Gold, Eletech manage to grasps the very essence of a noble, sweet yet highly technical GPS configuration - “Aeneid”
Background & Inspiration
Eletech “Aeneid” is inspired by the "Iliad” as sequel / spin off the original Iliad. With key components design drawing references from the “Aeneid” Story line as well as the “Roman Colosseum”. A project of that is incredibly daunting and of significant complexity, “Aeneid” seeks to usurp the highest level of accolades and overshadow Eletech’s previous releases, even the highest performing ones.
Traversing a radical approach to materials usage and configuration, Eletech resolves to achieve an ultimate flagship performance that is highly surreal while having capturing musicality, airiness and stereo imaging with a tinge of sweetness of a GPS.
During it’s inception, Eletech not only tried multiple grades of Gold Plating, but also tested it against industry known GPS configuration to benchmark it’s standing. After months of prototyping, Eletech finally settles on a special 2-type Gold alloy coating, plated with a calculated thickness onto an avant garde Silver Litz configuration that allows for a superior transmission of signals. Resulting in a complete profile of maxed out GPS configuration completely unheard of in the industry.
Design & Form Development
The Aesthetics form development of the “Aeneid” as well as the entirety of product packaging and tactile experience draws its inspiration from the tale of “Aeneid” which is a based on the concepts of a ‘Overhaul’, ‘Rebuild’ and more importantly the ‘Quest for Glory’. From unboxing experience to a product usage, the “Aeneid” prides itself on a complete, wholesome and luxurious product experience unlike any other.
The Y-Split is designed with an with the iconic Roman Colosseum with direct faceted cuts down the interior to introduce a multidimensional sensory treat. Using a premium matte black with gold finishes to introduce the luxurious essence into the cable. This not only does a sensory play on the sight but more importantly optimizing the tactile experience of the product.
The presence of chamfer / fillets around the edges of the Y-Split allows for a fully ergonomic user experience. Plug design conforms to the Eletech Signature of faceted design which is both durable and creates a tactile experience that is not conventional within the industry. The triangular geometric facets also helps bolster the durability of the plug.
Technology & Features
The “Aeneid” is a project to display an inherent high levels of musicality and technicalities whilst being a neutral all-pairing synergy. Stereo imaging and detailing are the foremost consideration within the technical mock up.
To achieve the desired sound profile, Eletech experimented several types of Gold plating to no avail. However a spark of curiosity got Eletech testing the feasibility of combining jewelry grade gold and the common audiophile used gold plating into a special blend of plating alloy. Herein lies the secret to “Aeneid”. The resultant plating technique and materials blend is unheard of and yields incredible results, steering the product towards our targeted sound profile.
To truly maximize the configuration of “Aeneid”and allowing it to be a perfect flagship product, Eletech chose to increase the materials count by twofold by adjusting the geometry efficiency, essentially packing the 24awg jacket with enough material to fill a 8wire 26awg configuration with excess. Fundamentally, there will not be an upgrade or 8wired version of “Aeneid”, as this form will be the final and ultimate iteration of the product.
In considerations of maximizing the strand counts, geometry stability and ergonomics, Eletech further optimized their in-house geometry stranding (Maximus efficiency strand geometry) that allows for variants of multiple sized strands to be encapsulate within the insulation to keep the general diameter slim and fully maximized without creating dead spots. This in-turn allowed for the exploration of inclusion of different strand sizes of materials to cater specifically for different frequency range (thin sized for high frequency ; thicker sized aids low frequencies) as well as create room for more materials to be packed within.
Eletech’s bold approach in both cable design as well as the components design has been very well received by the audiophile community and the “Aeneid” is no exception. Eletech has further improved on the various aspects of design and endeavors to create the ultimate musicality as well as personified the ‘Eletech Experience’ with the “Aeneid”.
